Psuedoscience

Psuedoscience

Psuedoscience is the practice of systematic evasion within a specialized science. Proponents, don't disagree with the fundamental questions within the relevant field, however, they will appeal to a primacy of doubt to evade the body of knowledge, context, or established evidence within their field. Instead of expanding upon or delimiting the context of proven discoveries, or reducing the field's fundamental question from the ideas it subsumes, or refining the field's question and methods, they seek to inquire about facts of reality from outside of reality i.e. on an unfounded, arbitrary, non-existent basis.

Under this definition. Galileo was not a pseudoscientist, as he had strong evidence for his claim and was persecuted by those who held to their preffered primacy of consciousness. The consistent application of the primacy of existence is the necessary prerequisite for any study of any field to remain scientific as opposed to being a " science of evasion." One cannot apply cartesian doubt to everything within a field to make their arbitrary claims and still be considered a thinker—of any field of thought, not a seeker of its knowledge, or a true lover of wisdom of any sort.
